Lots of sand

The past few days have been jammed packed. Wednesday we did the movie, which both girls did pretty well with. We stayed and walked around Downtown Disney with our friends after the movie. That night I had my women's summer study. Thursday was a slow day. Friday, Dan had off, so we went to the beach with my friend Jennifer and her family. That night I went out to dinner and coffee with my friends. Sat. we went to the beach again, but with different friends. We were supposed to get a fire pit to stay all day and into the evening for a bonfire, but by 11:00am all the fire pits were taken. So we stayed for the day and then went to someone's house to bar-b-q the hot dogs we all brought. We made smores over their outdoor firepit, so it was just like being at the beach. Sunday was church and then cleaning the house for Dan's parents to come for dinner. It was a nice visit. We played with the girls in the backyard, blowing bubbles, pushing them in their car/bikes, set up Bg1's tent, etc. I tried a new recipe, but I'm not sure if I liked it. It was shells stuffed with spinach, pancetta and cheese and then covered and baked in a creamy cheese sauce. I think it was good, I just don't think I like spinach. Today I am off to take Martha to the doctors and then we are going to a friends for dinner and swimming. Busy, busy, busy! I like it, but I am worn out. I am super tired and feel like I weigh 600 pounds. I feel like I need a vacation. Actually, I would really love to have a date night with Dan. I'm going to have to see if I can find a sitter. That would be just what I need; a night out with my man and a break from the kids.

That's about all I have to report. I'm not very exciting. Oh wait, we did get a new camera yesterday. We have been talking about getting one, just because ours is pretty beat up and the pictures keep coming out blurry. At the beach, the lens/shutter stopped working. It wouldn't close. So we got one yesterday. I haven't really had time to play with it much, but it seems nice. It has a larger screen and the camera itself is smaller than our last. We'll see. I need to play around with it. I was just so attached to the last camera. I used it constantly!

I need to go vacuum out the car - all that sand! Hope your week is off to a good start!
