We had so much fun camping! The weather was perfect, we had a great campsite, everyone got along, we had good food....it was just a lot of fun. It's always a lot of work to go camping, but I really enjoy it. The girls are at a fun age right now, so they enjoyed it too. The only part I don't like, is coming home and putting everything away.

Monday: Loads and loads and loads of laundry from camping. I also went out to get a few more things for our upholstered headboard project. Beth came over that evening and we had dinner and got to work. It took a little longer than I thought, so we didn't get mine done, but we finished Beth's, and it looks great. I was really happy with the way it turned out. I would have felt like a fool for saying I could do it and then not be able to come through. Also, I started my period. Which, in one way, I was sad to not be pregnant, I was also happy that my body is functioning and we could get ready for another cycle.

Tues: Took Bg1 to church in morning, Bg2 and I ran an errand and then came home and napped. I was really sore and tired from the previous evening. After picking up Bg1 from church, we headed home for lunch. I then started working on our bedroom. I started peeling bubbled and lifting wallpaper of the one wall that the previous owners put it on. Why one wall? I don't know, but I don't like it. About 3 hours into it and less than 1/4 of the way done, I realized I am not going to be able to get it all off. So I try to do damage control. I bought some wallpaper repair glue and fix the remaining seams. I also buy some orange peel texture spray and fill in the places I've already peeled off. I take everything off of the two walls that need to be painted and patch all the holes. (Our bed is up against two walls, and the paint has been worn off where the bed touches the wall. Plus, I sleep with my arm up and under my pillow, and I have scratched the heck out of the paint with my ring.) When Dan came home, we were off to try to match the paint so we would only have to paint the two walls instead of all four. Went by the library and then came home. Put the girls down for bed. Paint the bedroom. It's a perfect match and we only have to paint the two walls. You can barely see the spots that I tried to fix. If you're looking for them, you can see it, but if you didn't know they were there, you wouldn't be able to tell anything happened. Clean up and put the room back together again.

Wed: Wash curtains and re-hang curtain rods. This time, I did a much better job and when I rehung the curtains, it was a world of difference. I was going to re-make the curtains, but have decided against it, since I like it so much better now. Watched a friends kids for the morning and went to lunch. Came home and slept when the girls did - so tired!

Today: Been working on my headboard. Have it totally covered and ready to be tufted. Hopefully I can get it done today and Dan can help me get it up on the wall tonight. It's amazing how one idea, one project, can lead to so much work. Things always snowball like this. I wanted a headboard, and ended up repairing walls and painting. It needed it though, so I don't regret it. I will definately post pictures when it is up.

Tomorrow: Have to go take Martha to the doctors. I Really want to do a date night with Dan, but I haven't asked anyone to watch the kids, and it is kind of short notice now. I need to think of these things ahead of time. Dan has been really wonderful lately. He lets me do my little projects, with minimal complaining and usually helps me by keeping the kids out of the way. On Monday night, when Beth was here, he offered to take them to do our Costco shopping - so nice! And when I was painting, he would move the ladder around for me and it went super fast. He's just a wonderful man who loves me and loves his kids.

I made a behavior chart for Bg1. We've been trying to work on some things with her, so I thought that maybe some stickers and incentive towards a treat would help her. So far, so good. Her categories are No thumb, no hair pulling, follow directions (the first time told), be kind to Bg2, help mommy/daddy (she loves to do this, so I threw it on to give her something she is already successful at), and make bed (this is a new one for her). If she gets 5 stickers in a row, she gets a treat. I found some princess stickers and she is going to town trying to fill in the chart. I hope it lasts. Honestly, I really want to focus on her not sucking her thumb, but figured why not add some more things she can do. We'll see how it goes.

Seems like I had more to say, but I'm running out of steam and time.
