Bless you DVR!

2007-09-26 / 8:40 a.m.

*I love that when Bg2 is playing with her baby, she doesn't push the stroller over to me, she picks it up and carries it. And, she won't put the baby back in when she falls out, she makes me put her back in. Cute!

*I am going shopping with Beth on Saturday and I am SUPER excited!

*Bg1 is sporting a new bald spot.

*I worked out in our backyard last evening. The girls were playing, Dan was reading, and it had cooled off quite a bit, so I decided to just start with one flower bed. I cut back some things that were way out of control, cleaned up all the old leaves, and planted a plant my mom gave me a long time ago that needed to be out of it's pot and into the ground. Just doing that, filled up two trashcans! I feel like I have gotten a good start. It goes much easier when you just do one part at a time. I kind of want to do another one today, but we don't have anymore room in the garbage cans. I'll have to wait until our trash day.

*Dan has been super busy at work, and even though he is supposed to have Friday off, they might need him to come in. I'm bummed. I hope he doesn't have to go in. After being on vacation with him for all that time, I miss him now that he has gone back to work.

*I feel like getting out today. I have no where to go, but I am getting a little cabin fever. Maybe we'll go to the library or something.

*I L-O-V-E our DVR! I record Gilmore Girls every day, and while I was gone, obviously, they didn't get watched. So now, I have tons of episodes waiting for me. I can have a marathon! Seriously, that is the best show!

*Also, I started watching something that I would normally be embarrased to admit to. But since you're my friends and you can keep a secret, I'm going to share with you - but just you, so I'm trusting you. I've been watching......."Tori & Dean: Inn Love". I know, who cares about Tori Spelling? I don't know why, but it is just entertaining to me. If this gets out, I'll know where it came from - kind of like all the spam I've been getting - courtesy of Diaryland!

*I started my period this morning, which is bittersweet. Obviously, I would rather be knocked up, but I am happy that my body is trying to function. I'd rather have a period than not and have to go through all the crap at the doctor's office and end up taking drugs to bleed and wasting all that time!

*When I was cleaning out my closet, before vacation, I found an old skirt that I used to love. But it is long and I don't think it is very flattering on me. So today, I am going to alter it. I am going to take it up to just below my knee and probably take it in a little bit, so it is more fitting and flattering. Then it will feel like a new skirt - for free!

*I never did get out my Fall decorations, so that is on the list to do today as well.

*I'm boring myself with this entry.

TOIAKTYWYK: Cornelius (aka my mother's son) got a tattoo - it's a terrible tattoo that looks like it will wash off with his next hosing off. Plus, what he got is REdiculous, but that's fitting. Anyways, I'm kind of jealous that he got one, when I want one. No one in my family knows I want one, which is just fine with me, because I wasn't planning on sharing it with them anyways, especially after the mocking the did for him.
