New Older E mail Notes

Early morning

2008-01-08 / 9:49 a.m.

Dan came home sick yesterday! Bummer. I was hoping our family was going to miss the latest round of colds going around. We all tried to keep our distance, but that's not always easy. I can feel him breathing on me at night. Everytime he would turn towards me, I would turn so my back was to him. Trust me, it's not because I don't love him or want to cuddle - I don't want to get sick! So all of this paying attention to which way he is breathing, did not make for a good nights sleep.

Then the girls were up at 5:30 AM for some strange reason. I tried to get them both back to sleep, but it was hard with Dan walking around the house getting ready for work. I finally ended up putting Bg2 in bed with Bg1. They didn't go back to sleep, but at least they layed there quietly so I could go lay down for another hour.

I just got all my stuff organized for a night of scrapbooking at Jenn's house. I'm sure I have forgotten something, but I tried to pack light and efficiently. I am determined to get Bg2's baby book done! It probably won't happen tonight, but I'm hoping to get a lot of progress done. It's all organized and photo's are printed, so it's just a matter of getting it in the book.

I've been using my espresso machine every morning and can I just tell you how much I love that thing?! I have perfected my recipe for the perfect mocha and for the perfect eggnog latte - although I'm done with the eggnogg for the season. I'm craving some toasted almond or hazelnut syrup to make a really good latte. I'll have to look into that. Anyways, I held off this morning because my tummy was upset, but I am dragging. I need to go turn the machine on to heat up. Plus, I'm going to need the caffeine if I am going to have a late night at Jenn's.

Right now, Bg2 is still in her jammies and Elmo slippers, pushing a baby in the stroller, with a purse on her arm, giving kisses goodbye as she goes into the other room - can you get any cuter? Answer: no!
