Another great weekend

We had so much fun this weekend. We were both lazy and productive. We balanced our time. If we did something that needed to be done, we rewarded ourselves with a nap or a movie on the couch.

Dan had Friday and Monday off, so we had a lot of really great time together. The girls are finally on the mend, so we were able to be out and about. I think we have finally agreed on a paint color for our bedroom, as well as for the living/dining room. I can't wait to get started.

We took the girls to the movies yesterday. Bg1 did great, and Bg2 did alright. As long as she had popcorn, she was fine. And, it was a kids movie and there were a lot of kids making much more noise than ours. This weekend, we also made lots of yummy food, ran some errands, Dan took me to dinner on Sat. night and we watched a few movies. We watched some old movies that we haven't seen in a long time, like Tombstone and Jurassic Park. We definately need to weed through our old movies and get rid of a bunch. I also worked on Bg2's scrapbook a little, I downloaded pictures, got organized, did some housework, etc. It was a very productive weekend.

It's kind of funny. The plans for this weekend kept changing. First, we were supposed to go visit some friends, but when the girls got sick at the beginning of last week, we postponed. Then, on Thursday night, my friend Stephanie called to see if they could come out for the weekend. I was super excited, but she called back the next day to say they had changed their plans and would come out next month. I was bummed that all our plans kept getting changed, but it turned out to be a great weekend with Dan and the girls.
