Listy recap

I have not posted in a week because I don't have much to report. Here is a listy recap of my recent happenings:

*It's been raining = me happy

*Bg1 started tumbling class last week and was not going for it at first. She finally got into it, but it took a lot of encouragement.

*Went to Martha's to go through some of her really old Christmas decorations. She still has a bunch of really beautiful decorations that were my great-grandmother's. She wanted to divide them up between me and my brother. My SIL was kind of bugging me. First of all, she has no appreciation for any of it. Secondly, it will be put in a box, never to be seen again. And thirdly, and I know this is wrong, but I feel like it is my family stuff, not hers. But I know it is really for my brother, although he could care less. Anyways, she kept getting to take the first pick of things and I was getting kind of pissed. I just kept reminding myself that it is just "stuff" and I shouldn't get so worked up about it all. Plus, my aunt has way more of the same stuff, and pretty much has already told me that everything they have is going to me, so I'll be getting more - that sounds horrible! I'm not wanting it now, trust me, I want my aunt to be around for a really long time.

*I've been working on my scrapbook - a few pages at a time.

*I pulled my watercolors out and have been working on something that I would like to put in my living room, but don't know if I like it enough.

*Dan's parents came down to celebrate Grandma's 91st birthday.

*We had them over for dinner last night. I made yummy chicken enchiladas and baked a pie. I think Great-grandma had fun watching/playing with the girls.

*I've been playing around with my camera today. I've taken a bunch of black and whites of the girls that I think I might want to have printed and framed.

*We still haven't picked a wall color to paint and it's bugging me. I hate unfinished projects.

*I need to either find some more pillows for our bed, or go to the fabric store to make some. Plus, I need some fabric to recover the cushions on my rocking chair.

*Dan and his dad were looking on-line last night, at houses in our area. It was kind of exciting to think of a bigger house, and some of the pictures were great, but I just got done convincing myself that I am fine in this house for a while longer.

*Last night and this morning, my stomach has been making terrible gurgeling noises. I don't feel awful, but I don't feel great. It's actually kind of a strange feeling.

*Dan got new glasses and I really like them.

*It's 10:30 and I haven't had a shower yet today!
