Humbling experience

I don't know how people get their lady parts waxed. I just don't know how they do it. I went in today to get my eyebrows done and I feel like half of my face got ripped right off of my skull. I haven't had it done in over a year, and I just haven't been keeping up with plucking them myself, so I decided to "treat" myself and go get it done. The lady was really quick and very nice - except for the part where she told me, "You just want eye? You have lot of hair on lip and chin. I make you pretty." And I respond with, "No thank you. Just the eyes today." when what I really want to say is, "Ohhh, I like being ugly. Leave that hairy lip alone. I no want to be pretty." And since when is my chin hairy? Answer: it's not! What a humbling experience. She would fall over if she saw my legs and lady parts - which will NEVER happen!

We had another birthday party to go to today. It wasn't very fun, but the girls seemed to enjoy it. They ate cake - what more could you ask for? And once again, everyone is napping. I am enjoying the quiet too much to go lay down myself. I think I might actually pick up the book I've been trying to get through for the past couple of months.
