It hasn't been 45 days - DIARYLAND!

When I signed in just now, it said that I haven't updated for 45 days! That is not true. I mean it's been a while, but not 45 days! Diaryland!

Anyways, I realized that I haven't written since we went to Dan's parents. We had such an amazingly great weekend. We left Thurs. night and came home Mon. afternoon. It was the best trip we have had up there in a long time. Friday we went to visit a local farm that had animals for the girls to feed, went to Pismo Beach for some cinnamon rolls, walked the pier and headed home. Dan and I went out for an early date night. We went to an early show, had dinner and walked around and did some shopping. It was really nice. Saturday we went to the Strawberry Festival and tried to fly some kites with the girls, but it wasn't windy enough. Sunday we went to church with Dan's parents and then went fishing off the pier after naptime. Monday we headed home. Throughout the whole weekend, I was able to get some scrapbooking done (while the girls slept) and became severely addicted to Wii. Dan's brother came and stayed the whole weekend and he brought his Wii. I have never played before, but have watched others. I played and seriously - I. Love. It.! I want one now. I kicked some major ass at bowling! Who knew? Anyways, it was a really nice time. We all played and had fun and there was enough to do to keep busy.

This week has been super busy. I thought I just had to worry about getting ready or CO, but several things came up. So for the next couple of days, I have a lot to do to get ready to go. I can hardly wait to see my Dad and my sister. I'm looking forward to some good weather as well. It's been warmer there than here, but cooler at night. I love that. Plus, they have been having thunderstorms! I love me a thunderstorm!

I kind of got spoiled this week. Dan bought me a new phone - which I love! He also bought me a pink bluetooth handsfree while we were in Nipomo. And, because none of the chargers, earphones or USB cables are compatible with our new phone, he's been on the mission to find some for us. But, he made sure I had some headphones before our trip because my phone is basically my ipod and I listen to it constantly - especially while traveling. He's a good man. PLUS, he bought me season 4 of the Gilmore Girls - yippee!

Time to get a start on all the laundry that needs to be done before Wed.
